A classic American patriotic sing- along. The lyrics were written by Kathrine Lee Bates in 1895 and published as a poem. The music was written by church organist and choirmaster Samuel A. Ward for a hymn of a different name. The lyrics and music were combined and published in 1910. This rendition arranged, performed and recorded by Curtis Chamberlain 2021.
